Ten-year-old Lee Ellis understands the US Constitution and freedom better than most adults and nearly all politicians. “Did you know that ‘We the People’ means everyone? The rich, the poor, the young, the old, whites, blacks, men, and women are all a part of ‘We the People,’” the fifth-grader wrote. Actually, this is a new revelation for many. Ellis was recently awarded first place in the Ninth Annual Pasco County Clerk & Comptroller Constitution Essay Contest for his honest and simplistic explanation of our guaranteed rights. Good job, kid!
