Three senators appeared before the Brazilian Supreme Court to testify against President Jair Bolsonaro’s actions in handling the coronavirus. Specifically, the senators believe Bolsonaro turned a blind eye to a $300 million vaccine scheme for Covaxin. Furthermore, it is alleged that a potential shell company in Singapore was billed for Covaxin vaccines before they were even approved for use in the country. While other nations were paying around $1.34 a dose, Brazil seemingly agreed to pay $15 per dose, raising some valid questions.
