US/AMERICAS:
President Joe Biden has announced the creation of 31 technology hubs across 32 states and Puerto Rico, aimed at spurring private investment and creating jobs. The tech hubs were authorized through the CHIPS and Science Act, which Biden signed into law last year. The tech hubs will focus on clean energy, biotech, and semiconductors, and will be transformational, according to Biden. The program was launched by Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo in May, with the aim of dispersing $500 million in grants. The creation of the tech hubs is part of a long line of transformational investments made since Biden took office, and he believes that the country is about to take off as a result of these investments
