The Dow Today in a Nutshell 10-15-2014

We seem to be in a race to see who can ask government to hold their money. This is the classic flight to quality (i use that word loosely). The talk on the street is always trying to find a fundamental to fit to the price action. Plunging oil prices are signs to economic […]

Dow & 2015.75

QUESTION: Many thanks again for the stream of clarifying observations posted daily — hugely appreciated. I was struck when reading that 2015.75 could be a low.Would this not permit a drop to cross 11,750? And would such a resulting chart pattern not be remarkably bullish? In effect might not the drop be an amplified echo of that […]

Dow for 10-14-2014

The Dow held the Daily Bearish at 16319. Therefore, if the low of 10/13 holds, we should bounce back into Thursday-Friday. But this would be just a bounce. We can see from the technical chart that once that uptrend line was broken, there was just the collapse. Typically, we would rally back and bounce […]

Artur Mas Prime Minister of Catalonia, cancelled the planned independence referendum in the northeastern Spain region. At a meeting with the Catalan party leaders, the Prime Minister announced on Monday in Barcelona officially, that the legal basis for such a vote on November 9th does not exist bowing to pressure from Brussels. The Spanish Constitutional Court had the […]

The Dow Oct 13, 2014

Yes the Daily Bearish is at 16319. It appears we have penetrated the low of August 6th which was 16313. This warns that the correction has unfolded. Dow Today

Support in the Dow today lies at 16,451. Weekly support begins at 16,170 and key support remains at 15,961. We really need a closing back ABOVE 17000 just to firm support. Otherwise, a bounce is likely with a turn back down into November.

When the final epitaph is written on the decline and fall of Germany, how will it review Merkel? With fond memories or the catalyst of doom? In the background of the war rhetoric against Russia, the European financial crisis continues to smolder where the stench is starting to be noticed as the Euro keep declining. European […]

Dow Jones Outlook for July 2014 Closing

The July high seems to be unfolding nicely in the US share market as we warned at the World Economic Conference. The computer seems to have done an excellent job targeting the week of 14th as the Directional Change.   A closing for July BELOW 16695 will warn that we are starting to lose the […]
